Probiotic Solutions

What are Probiotics?

We often think of bacteria as something that can make us sick. Probiotics, on the other hand are just the opposite. They are good bacteria that helps our digestive tract. Our digestive system in fact, is full of probiotics. We could not live without them. They live in the world around us and are essential to digestion. But sometimes the good bacterium in our gut is insufficient. In these cases, probiotic therapy can improve our digestion and overall health.

Science is still trying to understand the many roles probiotics play in our overall well-being. Already, people have reported that probiotics have helped with oral health, breathing ailments, psoriasis, skin conditions, constipation, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, urinary health, diarrhea associated with antibiotics, aches, joint pain and much more.

The FDA regulates probiotics differently than traditional medicine. Please refer any health related questions or concerns about them to your doctor or medical professional.

Probiotics are generally safe for most people. But talk to your health care professional first to see if they are right for you. Stop taking them if you have any concerns and consult your health care professional.
